Multi‐site interaction turnover in flea–mammal networks from four continents: Application of zeta diversity concept and multi‐site generalised dissimilarity modelling

چکیده

We studied patterns of changes in host–flea interactions measured as total turnover (TT) which can be partitioned into components, namely species (ST), interaction rewiring (RW), and mixed (MX) networks from Europe, Asia, Africa, South America, applying a multi-site metric. also searched for environmental drivers TT its components. asked whether (a) different components contribute differently to rare versus common (in terms frequency occurrence); (b) relative roles differ between continents; (c) the interactions, and/or continental networks. Between-network dissimilarity increased with an increase number compared Pure ST contributed most whereas was predominated by MX. The effects factors, richness, spatial distance on differed networks, interactions. Climate vegetation exerted strongest (except Asia) and, lesser degree, (South America) RW both Europe/Asia, MX Africa). Interaction richness mainly influenced ST. conclude that were geographically invariant did not depend identity interactors, because species-specific responses environment.

Multistationarity in sequential distributed multisite phosphorylation networks.

Multisite phosphorylation networks are encountered in many intracellular processes like signal transduction, cell-cycle control, or nuclear signal integration. In this contribution, networks describing the phosphorylation and dephosphorylation of a protein at n sites in a sequential distributive mechanism are considered. Multistationarity (i.e., the existence of at least two positive steady sta...

MULTIPERIODICITY OF f OPHIUCHI FROM MULTISITE OBSERVATIONS

We present results from simultaneous multisite high-resolution spectroscopic and photometric observations of f Oph (HD 149757) taken in 1993 May. Our spectroscopic data include about 100 hr of continuous monitoring of the star. The line-proÐle variations of He I j6678, which are characterized by features traveling from blue to red, are well reproduced by two large-amplitude sinusoids and other ...

Design, simplified cloning, and in-silico analysis of multisite small interfering RNA-targeting cassettes

Multiple gene silencing is being required to target and tangle metabolic pathways in eukaryotes and researchers have to develop a subtle method for construction of RNA interference (RNAi) cassettes. Although, several vectors have been developed due to different screening and cloning strategies but still some potential limitations remain to be dissolved. Here, we worked out a simple cloning stra...
